   ¿Para qué usan Evernote ustedes? Es una de las plataformas más útiles y prácticas que existe. La versión moderna y on line de los post-it. Por si no lo conocen, es un programa que bajas para el computador y para cualquier tipo de teléfono inteligente o dispositivo electrónico, permite escribir notas y pegarles audio, fotos, páginas, direcciones y todo lo que se te ocurra. Para ordenar la inspiración, las ideas y pendientes es lo máximo. Después lo clasificas y se sincroniza automáticamente, haciendo que lo tengas disponible donde quieras. Soy de esas personas que tienen las ideas en las partes más insólitas, así que las anoto rápido en el teléfono y después las tengo en el computador cuando las necesito. Hago la lista del supermercado en la cocina y la imprimo al tiro en el escritorio, lo mismo hago a veces con el menú de la semana. Para ordenar las finanzas, nada mejor que llevar las cuentas en Evernote y añadir fotos de los comprobantes o boletas importantes. Y así, innumerables formas de usarlo, si no lo tienes bájalo y empieza a organizarte!

   What do you use Evernote for? It's one of the most practical and helpful platforms ever. Modern on line version of post-its. If you don't know it, it's a downloadable software for your computer and for any electronic device or smartphone, that allows you to write notes with audio, photos, web links, sites and almost anything you want to paste. It's the best for getting our inspiration, ideas and to do lists organized. Then you tag the note and it gets automatically synchronized, making it available wherever you need it. I'm one of those people who gets ideas at the strangest places, so I write them down at Evernote quickly and then I have them at my computer. I make my supermarket list at the kitchen and I print it right away at my desk, sometimes I do the same with our weekly menu. If you want to get your numbers in order, nothing better than adding your expenses at Evernote on the go, with pictures of you receipts and invoices. And we could go on for ever with ways of using it, if you don't have it download it and get organized!!

   ¿Se han dado tiempo para buscar dónde y con qué cosas a su alrededor trabajan mejor? Donde sea que tengamos nuestro lugar de trabajo -en la oficina, en la casa, como profesores o alumnos-, en ese momento en que nos sentamos a madurar una idea y hacerla un fruto necesitamos estar en el lugar que nos haga más eficientes, concentrados y creativos. Si no estamos cómodos hay que arreglar las cosas como podamos, cambiar de lugar algo, acompañarnos de quienes queremos en fotos, tener a mano nuestras fuentes de inspiración. Yo me conozco y tengo este escritorio donde están mis cachureos y el cargador:

   Have you give yourself some time to think about where and surrounded by what do you work better? Wherever we work from -at the office, at home, as teachers or students-, that moment in which we sit to ponder an idea and take something out of it is the one when we need a place that help us to be efficient, focused and creative. If we are not comfortable we must fix things in any way we can, change something from it's place, bring who we love for support in some photos, keep our sources of inspiration nearby.    Pero donde impajaritablemente terminamos todos, acompañados, trabajando, preguntándonos, en un silencio relativo y en absoluto brainstorming es donde mejor nos resulta, en la mesa del comedor! 

   

   But where we end up anyway, with good company, working, asking each other, in relative silence and full brainstorming is where it suites us best, the dining table!

   <----- Me encanta sentarme en el escritorio y escribir una notita en un papel lindo. Puede ser para un regalo, para dar las gracias por algo o una simple ayuda de memoria, pero todo queda mejor cuando el papel es lindo, uno se pone hasta de buen humor. Nuestro amigo nuevo de esta semana, Arte y Papel, hace de esta experiencia algo de todos los días, porque al entrar a la tienda uno puede encontrar montones de cosas maravillosas para usar o regalar a alguien especial.    I love sitting in my desk and write a note on a nice paper. It can be for a gift, to say thank you or just a reminder, but everything is better when paper is cute, you even get happy.    Un dato para los que solemos escribir y a veces queremos poner una figura y no logramos dar con ella. Evítense frustraciones, pérdidas de tiempo y rabias visitando copypastecharacter, lo copian, lo pegan y ya está!! Denme las gracias....De nada! Ja!

   Tomé mi cartera para llevarla donde correspondía y por una rendija pude ver el espantoso revoltijo que puede ser la cartera de una mamá de cuatro. Espantoso. Una cantidad de pañales, boletas, comunicaciones del colegio, papeles del seguro y artefactos que no me dejan encontrar adentro lo que necesito. Así que decidí tomar cartas en el asunto y fabricarme una carpeta de papeles importantes para la cartera. Al más puro estilo de things organized neatly, sitio imperdible, les muestro como escandinivicé (jajá!) mi cartera y cómo lo pueden hacer ustedes también.

  I took my purse to take it where it belongs and I took a glimpse to the mess that was inside, as bad as can be for a mother of four. Horrible. An unbearable amount of diapers, receipts, school memos, insurance papers and gadgets that don't allow me to find what I need from inside. So I decided to take matters into it and make an important paper's binder for our purse. Just like on things organized neatly, a must-see site, I'm showing you how I turn my purse scandinavian (haha!) and how you can do it too.

Voy a hacer un paréntesis en el tema del mes hoy, porque me acordé de que tengo que reponer mi calendario antes de que se acaben. Soy de esas personas que apenas logra mantener la cabeza atornillada al cuello, es un problema genético. El año pasado descubrí un calendario que me acomoda perfecto, porque tiene espacio para mi, para cada niño, lugar para hacer listas, stickers, hasta lápiz y además es magnético! Se llama Do it All Mom Calendar y es diseñado por Orange Circle Studio. A mi me encantó y tienen otros diseños muy lindos, planificadores mensuales y semanales, para la comida, agendas, calendarios de pared....Así que ya encargué antes de que se acaben, y pedí uno para la tiendita también.

I'm making a parenthesis on this month subject today, because I remembered that I have to search for my calendar before they are gone. I'm one of those people that hardly can keep the head over the shoulders, it'a a genetic issue.. Last year I discovered a calendar that suits me perfect, because it has space for me, for each kid, space to make lists, stickers, even a pen and it's magnetic! It's called Do it All Mom Calendar and it's designed by Orange Circle Studio. I just loved it and they have some other beautiful designs, monthly and weekly planners, menu planners, pocket planners, wall calendars.....So I just ordered mine before they run out, and I ordered one for the little store too.
