Este no es el típico post de los miércoles, porque esta no es una típica semana. ¿Les está costando retomar las rutinas del año tanto como a mí? Mucho que ordenar, que buscar, que marcar, que manejar... ya se irá enrielando todo. Lo que me da esperanzas de un respiro entretenido, de esos que se agradecen, es que el domingo empiezan a dar en el cable la cuarta temporada de Downton Abbey, la serie inglesa sobre la familia Crawley que conquistó al mundo con su historia y sus detalles, las locaciones, vestuarios, música, haciendo incluso que la moda le hiciera guiños. Si ya la vieron por algún medio, no me cuenten! He esperado pacientemente para ver cómo resuelven el nudo sin Mathew y quiero escuchar todas las frases que Lady Violet tiene para decir, las enmarcaría.

   This isn't the typical  wednesday post, because this is not a typical week. Are you picking up the year year routines, it's been hard for me as. A lot to tide up, to look for, to label, to handle ... but everything will come to it's course. What gives me hope is an entertaining break, one of those of which we are grateful for, good thing that on Sunday the fourth season of Downton Abbey starts showing here, the British series about the Crawley family that conquered the world with its history and details, locations, costumes, music, making even the fashion world wink. If you already saw it by any means, don't tell me anything! I waited patiently to see how they solve the knot without Mathew and I so want to hear all phrases that Lady Violet has to say, I would frame all of them.

   Let's get down to business with inspiration today because being November I bet you have a thousand and one things to do on your own and some others marked to do this weekend. I'm going to ask you just to take seven minutes of your time, in the midst of this hectic life, to watch this wonderful little film, which will leave you happy and longing for peace. Tell me if you liked, I bet you will!

   Ahora que quedamos con el espíritu en alto, les tengo algunas entretenciones elegidas que les van a gustar. Hay muchas cosas que enseñar y descubrir mientras hacemos inventos y estos dos son buenísimos y un empujón fuerte a la creatividad. Les podemos añadir de nuestra cosecha, componer y escribir guiones y transformar la proyección en película.... se va a pasar tan rápido el tiempo!

   Para entretenerte en el fin de semana, sale a ver la naturaleza!!! Y si después por algún motivo no puedes disfrutar de teatro barato y bueno, o de películas en la playa, te dejo dos entretenciones en el computador para ti, y una para los chicos:

    Vivimos en una época genial para nosotras las mamás. No tenemos que demostrar nada a nadie, la generación anterior ya lo hizo, ahora podemos elegir lo que queremos hacer y cómo lo hacemos, cómo balanceamos ese mundo increíble de la maternidad con crecer nosotras intelectual y laboralmente. Incluso los hombres están compartiendo el sentimiento y hacemos las cosas prácticamente a la par. Si miran la columna izquierda, notarán que hay sitios amigos. Uno de ellos es el de Mara y Ángeles, ellas son dos mujeres que piensan que la vida es más que pañales y mamaderas y que comparten con las demás sus datos y las cosas que les interesan en su blog The Mamacitas. Me acordé de ellas con este video, porque ésta es la actitud de una mamacita, nos colgamos los niños al hombro, nos metemos la vida al bolsillo y después cantamos arriba del piano, estupendas y con una sonrisa, o no? Así son las mamacitas, ella es una.

   We live in a great time for being a mother. We don't have to prove anything to anyone, the generation that came before did it for us, now we can choose what to do and how, how to balance that incredible world of motherhood with our intellectual and work growth. Even men are sharing that feeling and we are doing things almost side by side. If you look at the left column, you would notice some friend sites. One of them is owned by Mara and Ángeles, they are two girls that believe life is more than diapers and milk bottles and share with moms their tips and interests at their blog The Mamacitas. I thought about them when I saw this video, because this is the attitude of a mamacita, we carry our kids on the back, put life in our pocket and then sing over the piano with a smile, don't we? This is a mamacita.

   Hay una película que dan todo el tiempo en el cable (eso quiere decir que es vieja!), pero que siempre me quedo pegada viendo. Y suspiro, me río, lloro...etc. Me gusta porque es simple, real, podría ser la vida de cualquier persona en el mundo, además tiene al perro, que es igualmente "leso", por decirlo suave, que los míos. Pero lo que más me cautiva de Marley y Yo, basada en un libro del mismo nombre de John Grogan, es darme cuenta de lo importante que son para cada persona ciertos momentos en la vida en que tenemos que tomar una decisión que la cambia para adelante. Siempre he pensado que no venimos a la vida a sufrir, sin decir con eso que no debamos enfrentar los sufrimientos que tocan a veces. Lo que sí quiero decir es que muchas veces nosotros mismos nos hacemos infelices añadiendo a la vida cosas que deberíamos sacar y esta película habla de eso, de atreverse a dar pasos para ser feliz, a independizarse, o a dejar de pensar en cosas que no son realmente importantes y poner las prioridades en otro lugar. Todo eso nos hace libres y grandes, y felices! Yo he tomado ya tres veces ese tipo de decisiones y estoy orgullosa de ellas. Y ustedes, les ha pasado también o necesitan un empujoncito para hacerlo?

   There is a movie playing all the time now on cable tv (meaning it's old!), and I always get stuck watching it. I sigh, laugh, cry...etc. I like it because it's simple, real, could be anyone's life around the world, besides it has that "bad" dog, to say it the soft way, that is just like mines. But what captivates me the most about Marley and Me, based on the book by John Grogan, is to realize how important are for every person those moments in which we have to make a decision that will change life ahead. I've always thought we don't come to life to suffer, not saying we don't have to face suffering when it comes,  but saying many times we make ourselves unhappy by adding thing we should't to our life, and this movie talks about that, about taking steps towards happiness, daring to be independent, or just putting priorities where they should be and not over things you don't need. All of that makes us free, big, and happy! I've taken three of this decisions in my lifetime and I¡m proud of them. How about you, have you take some, or need a little push?
